Introductions, Settings, and Descriptions

Location, Location, Location

For me, description and setting are two of the most important parts of any roleplay. Settings, in particular, have become notably more important in e-Wrestling over the past few years as evidenced by the number of promotions that have banned “in-ring promos.” Personally I don’t think in-ring promos should be banned because they’re easy or boring; in many ways they are an excellent way for the youngest and greenest roleplayers to learn the ropes. Taking average rps and moving them to the next level Part 1 (Evaluation)

First and foremost let me just say that there is no set in stone way to try to take your game to the next level and this is not a process that is going to be overnight. This is something that you’re going to have to dedicate yourself to try and do. The Art of Smack

Over time, trash talking and simply discussing your opponent and the match has taken a back seat to the story driven, or character development based, style of writing.
